Land Transportation Office-Zamboanga City  District Officer Noel M. Noche has warned motorcycle owners against altering or modifying their motorcycle muffler or any  accessories of their units without authority from any LTO  office.

Noche said that motorcycles should be in accordance with the law on transportation and their owners  should not alter it without permit from the LTO.
The penalty and fine for such violation is very high,” he said.

Noche advised owners not to alter the motorcycles after they bought from a store, because the motorcycles are already in the  standard of the law.
