Man shot dead by wife’s ex-husband PDF Print E-mail

A resident of San Roque was shot dead by his wife’s former and estranged husband at their residence yesterday morning.

Killed was Abdulajid Sakin, married. He was shot by Absar Mohammad.

Sakin sustained two bullet wounds in the body and was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

A police report disclosed that Sakin was at their residence around 10:30 a.m. when Mohammad arrived and without any word shot him twice at close range.

Mohammad escaped aboard a motorcycle.

Men of the Sta. Maria police station conducted a follow-up operation in Baliwasan but Mohammad was not found in that place. A hot pursuit operation is ongoing as of press time

Meanwhile, Nur Gadjalun y Nadjalun, 38, married, of Upper Calibato, Lamisahan, was shot and wounded last Monday morning.

Police said that Gadjalun was on his way to his farm in Upper Nangka, Bunguiao around 9 a.m. when he spotted a group of armed men at a secluded area in Upper Nangka.

Police said the gunmen fired their guns towards the forested area and Gadjalun was hit by a stray bullet.

The gunmen then left the place after the incident while helpful residents took the Gadjalun to the hospital. – Dan Toribio Jr.
