Van rams house: Family of 5 hurt PDF Print E-mail

A family of five was injured after a Mitsubishi Adventure of the Department of Agrarian Reform-Ipil office rammed their house atSitio Burlua, Mangusu last Tuesday morning.

Vitali Police Station chief Sr. Insp. Joel Tuttuh identified the victims as Don-Don Hamsani, 9, Arna Mohammad, 4, Nurhima Gunda, 46, Hamid Hanapia and Adzhar Mohammad. They sustained injuries in the body and were taken to the hospital.

Investigation showed that the DAR vehicle was heading for Ipil around 8 a.m. when its driver, Francis Kong Naval, lost control of the steering wheel, causing it to crash on the house of Harun Mohammad at Sitio Burlua in Mangusu.

The vehicle was heavily damaged, while the house was partially destroyed.

Naval was placed under investigation while the vehicle was impounded for safekeeping.
