District 2 Rep. Erbie A. Fabian yesterday lauded 250 students for their desire to strive for a better future.

This was his message during the graduation rites at the TESDA Training Center in Gov. Ramos Avenue from the various skills efficiency programs offered by the Technical Education Skills Development Authority or (TESDA).

The mass graduation rites comprise the last quarter batch of trainees under the Congressman’s scholarship program in a tie up with TESDA.

Students graduated from several skill courses ranging from beauty and health care, English and Spanish proficiency, plumbing, metal works among others.

Fabian assured the program which seeks to give opportunities to the underprivileged, the poor, and the unemployed to be equipped with skills training to better their chances of gaining employment.
Fabian has made the program an annual undertaking allocating money from his congressional allocation to fund scholarships for skills training.

He adopted the Employment for Rural Barangays Integrated Education or the ERBIE Program to push his project.

Barangays in the different parts of the city regularly send participants to the highly regarded skills training program of Cong. Fabian.

During the graduation rites, TESDA 9 officials headed by Regional Director Nilda Espiritusanto expressed deep gratitude to Cong. Fabian for keeping the program going.

TESDA Center Administrator Newlita Elumba said Fabian’s scholarship program has provided the “masa” hope for a better future.

Present during the graduation rites were TESDA officials headed by Director Espiritusanto, the graduates’ families and staff from the congressional office and the EBAF Production crew.
The next batch of trainees will start by the first quarter of next year.
