Operatives of the City Police Office’s Investigation Section led Sr. Insp. Arlan Delumpines under the supervision of City Police Director Sr. Supt. James Mejia
arrested a 40-year-old woman and confiscated from her shabu and an improvised gun called boga during an operation in Baliwasan the other day.

Arrested was Marivic Abdurahman y Francisco, of Aquino Drive, Baliwasan.

Delumpines and his men were conducting a hot pursuit operation against Al Sharif Hairal in connection with a motorcycle theft case when they chanced upon Abdurahman, the shabu and boga..

Policemen went to Abdurahman’s house to look for Hairal, but the latter managed to escape together with her live-in-partner identified as Haibil Samdain.

Recovered from Abdurahman’s house  were two small test tubes, two glass tooters, improvised stainless tooters, rolled tissue paper, two strips of aluminum foil, two lighters, small sachets with visible granules of shabu, medium size shabu pack, two pair of scissors, black pouch, boga and two suspected stolen motorcycles.

The seized items were turned over to police investigators while Abdurahman was detained pending the filing of charges against her. – Dan Toribio Jr.
