Men of the Zamboanga City Public Safety Company under Supt. William Gadayan, group director, arrested another suspected drug pusher in Barangay Sta. Catalina last Wednesday night.

In another operation, operatives of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force led by Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon under City Police Director Sr. Supt. James Mejia, arrested three suspected pushers in Recodo at dawn yesterday.

Gadayan identified the suspect as Rosendo Rivera Piedad alias Ondok, a resident of Betty 2 Drive, Sta. Catalina.

He said his team along with a poseur buyer went to Sta. Catalina around 6 p.m. after Piedad agreed to a drug deal.

The poseur buyer and Piedad met and immediately marked money and a sachet of shabu changed hands.

The back-up team cornered and arrested Piedad after seeing him took the marked money.

During inspection, policemen recovered several drug paraphernalia and a medium pack of shabu from Piedad’s possession along with the P300 marked money and the small sachet which he sold to the poseur buyer He was detained at the central police station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Meanwhile, Solon identified those three suspects they arrested as Rhuskin Buhari, a Philippine Air Force reservist alias Nga-Nga, 37, married,  Mudzna Buhary, 37, both of Purok 3B, Dacon, Recodo and Romnick Verina, alias Nick-Nick.

Solon said they recovered four large sachets of shabu, one medium size and one small sachet, several shabu paraphernalia and P300 marked money from the possession of the suspects. — Dan Toribio Jr.
