Pusher arrested in hotel drug bust PDF Print E-mail

Operatives of the Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force and men of the Tetuan Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon arrested a suspected drug pusher in a hotel along Tomas Claudio St. the other day.

In a report to City Police Director Sr. Supt. James Mejia, Solon identified the suspect as Brian Ansao y Baclay, 21.

Initial investigation showed that the buy-bust operation took place at Room 208 around 7 p.m.

Recovered from Ansao’s possession were a cotton bud plastic container containing three big sachets of suspected shabu, one small sachet, 10 rolled tissue papers, two strips of aluminum foil, improvised aluminum tooter, 15 empty plastic sachets, four sachets with suspected shabu residue, a pair of scissors, a lighter, two cut straws and P200 marked money.

Police said that Ansao sold a small sachet of shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange of P200 marked money.

The three big sachets of shabu were recovered from the suspect’s possession during inspection. He was detained at the central police station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
