Annual Sail on the Shindig Tour marks its 3rd year PDF Print E-mail

The Hypernova Production Society Inc. (HPSI) under the direction of Dr. Bob N. Aquino and with the support of Aguman de Capampangan (ADC), Zamboanga City Chapter, Universidad De Zamboanga (UZ), Zamboanaga City Government and Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School (DPLMHS) will host the Sail on the Shindig Tour, 21st National Interfaith Inspirational benefit marathon and dance tour on Sept. 14, 2012, Friday 2-5 p.m. at the Zamboanga City Coliseum,this city.

According to Dr. Aquino, sail on the shindig tour is a musical show composed of different talented youth came from different high schools and colleges here in Zamboanga City. Director Aquino is a dentist by profession from Pampanga and this was his 3rd time to visit the city. The purpose of this musical show are the following: to bring to the attention of the laity especially the Filipino youth, a greater awareness of the growing immortality and spiritual breakdown of our society and to witness the love and sufferings Jesus bore for us in his most sacred face, to encourage, to promote and to inspire people to spread God’s messages of love for the unification of churches as we sail on towards the promised land and to let his holy face imprint in the hearts in all humanity through our inspirational music “Sail On…His Holy Face’s CD album and uplift the weary souls of our fellowmen.

Members of this society are: Jerwin SM Evangelista (President, Hypernova Sailor Zamboanga Chapter), Tim Darwin Eijan Q. Santos (Brent Hospital and Colleges Inc.), Brian Riro H. Traigo and Benhar R. Hamis (WMSU), Arthur Jonh S. Batica (SCC) and Honroso “RJ” F. Go (ADZU).

Junior sailors’ participants are as follows: John Renzo R. Wee and Philip Lance L. Kho (ADZU), Jahnrev B. Real (UZ), Tom Edzel Eijan Q. Santos (Brent Hospital and Colleges Inc.), Glenn Raymond S. Gapoy (WMSU), Alvie Modan Sairul (Zamboanga Maritime Training Center), Walid Khaled Matar, Ismael  Hamed Ahmed M. Usallan and Sadam Matar (Baguio City). Also, other participants are: Marjon O. Madiog (SCC) senior sailor crew, Johan H. Marialas and Al-Shamir N. Ashi (Brent Hospital and Colleges Inc.) and AJ “Nur” T. Carpio (WMSU).

Tickets are sold at P40, P70 and P100.
