District 2 Representative Erbie A. Fabian made a triumphant return to Barangay Ayala in a glitzy presentation, much to the delight of the huge throng who trooped expectantly to the Fonda site during last night’s Cong. Erbie Fabian’s night.

The riproaring affair met with an enthusiastic high energy response from the crowd as Cong. Fabian wowed the crowd with high energy production numbers from the Amor con Amor se Paga band, the sexy amor dancers and the check male dancers.

The crowd got into a frenzied mood when the east coast solon peppered the huge crowd with gift packs, and dozens of basketball giveaways.

A brand new trisikad, a wheelchair and dozens more gift items were given away to lucky winners including children and housewives who gamely played along with the congressman in several contests.

Fabian serenaded a comely housewife with songs and gifted her with his wristwatch as the crowd roared approvingly.

In his short message, Cong. Fabian thanked Ayala and other westcoast folks for their unwavering support in his years of public service to the people of Zamboanga.

He urged the people to stay united and cooperative to move the city forward vowing his unstinted support for the people.

Fabian was accompanied by son Robin, the entire production crew of EBAF as he renewed ties with barangay leaders led by Barangay Chairman Diosterides Librero, former councilor Fred Jimenez, Councilor Jawo Jimenez and other barangay officials from nearby La Paz, Recodo and Tulungatung.

Fabian thanked the barangay officials for the invitation to share in the fonda festivities, a 28-year tradition made famous in Ayala.

The annual Fonda festivities highlight the Yule celebrations in the barangay, started Dec. 8 right after the Immaculate Conception Feast Day and ends on December 30 just before New Year’s Eve.

Last night’s festivities, highlighted by fireworks display was hosted by veteran broadcaster Nonong Santiago.

The ever growing popular Cong. Fabian show is slated to make stops in Camino Nuevo and Sta. Maria in the next couple of days.
