“Do good for the people and our country while you are wearing your police uniform in the performance of  your duties. Live a simple life for your family. Read and study so that you will be promoted and will stay longer in the service. Be respectful and courteous and stay away from bad vices that may affect your oath and duties.”

Thus the advice given by Highway Patrol Group-9 Chief Sr. Supt. Moises C. Pagaduan in his message to HPG-9 personnel during his visit to the different HPG provincial units in the region from Monday to Wednesday.

Pagaduan read the letter of instruction of HPG National  Director Chief Supt. Arrazad P. Subong directing all HPG operatives nationwide to be resfectful at all time.

Subong said that HPG personnel must always be courteous and always remember to say “opo and “po”.

Pagaduan said all HGP troopers have all the privileges in the service.

“Wear your uniform and boots neatly because you are the show window of the Philippine National Police. While on duties, always stay alert and vigilant so that it will not cause you harm. Make a good rapport with people and local government units,” he told his men.

He continued: “Do good at all times so that you will stay longer in the service  and receive the retirement benefits.”

During the three-day command visit to the different commands. Pagaduan and his team experienced heavy downpour.

Day and night they visited the different units and delivered the message of the HPG National director. They also experienced rough roads and terrain  in Sergio Osmeña and other places in the peninsula. — Allen Abastillas
