Capt. Armando M. Bucoy (retired), now a professor at the National Police Commission (Napolcom) in Pasonanca filed his Certificate of Candidacy for Councilor in the first district last October 4 at the Comelec Office.

Bucoy was endorsed by the Guardians, Zetan Fraternity and the big Bucoy clan.

His advocacies are: Education, Skills for life through TESDA, Sports Development and Scholarship for deserving athletes, Basic Health Services, Peace and Order, Transparency in the implementation of government projects, fringe benefits aside from existing privileges for senior citizens, flood central measures, Garbage Collection at night to ensure a clean city without foul order at the break of dawn and a comprehensive traffic plan.

Bucoy, a personal choice of the Zetan Founder and its Supreme Council, is an independent candidate.

“The people of Zamboanga is my boss. I will serve them. I have no personal political agenda,” Bucoy said.
