A celebration would not be complete without rounds of laughter, and this is the essence after all the cultural and religious festivities are settled.

October 13, a day after the feast of Nuestra Senora La Virgen del Pilar, a stand up comic cum concert dubbed “PooH, K: Mas Alegre na Zamboanga” will ensue as part of the Hermosa Festival.

Zamboangueno singer Marc Velasco will also take part in the show as opening act.

The benefit show is being presented by Aqua Best Zamboanga in coordination with Zamboanga Puericulture Center and the City Government whose aim is to  expand the indigent charity ward at the Puericulture Hospital.

Gigi Cabato, project incharge of said show, said Puericulture being in the center of the city and being accessible, has been serving the people including the indigents since its establishment, and the show will help fund the expansion program of the maternity-child ward as part of the social charitable principle of Puericulture.

“Puericulture remains consistent with its mandate and principle to help the people, especially  in seeing to it that the health of the mothers and their child is at the foremost efforts of said  organization,” Cabato explained.

Tickets for the said show is being sold at P1,300 with dinner, P1,000 with drinks, and P500  for general admission. The show will be this weekend , October 13 at the Convention Center of the Grand Astoria Hotel.

Also taking part as supporters of the show are Laundry Best, Hyundai, Amistad media and management, DnJ Doulos Pharma, Pepsi, Gerry’s Grill, Garden Orchid Hotel, Landco, Woodridge, San Miguel Beer, Ceciles Catering and Pension House, Hon.
