Five Army soldiers were injured after their military vehicle turned turtle along the highway in Barangay Sta. Clara, Lamitan City around 12 noon yesterday.

According to DZT Basilan correspondent Richard Falcatan, the soldiers’ vehicle was on its way to Isabela City from Tumahubong, Sumisip when the accident took place.
Falcation said the soldiers belong to the Army’s 104th Brigade

It was learned that the military vehicle lost its brake causing it to turn turtle.

Injured were Sgt. Jilton Almonte, Cpl. Rex Dalida, Sgt. Rodrigo Talan, Cpl. Arnel Alberto Suyat and Cpl. Ronald Sebastian. Some of them were brought to the St. Peter Hospital in Lamitan for treatment, while the rest were transferref to the Camp Navarro Hospital in Zamboanga City.
