Highway Patrol Group-9 Chief Sr. Supt. Moises C. Pagaduan made a command visit last week of the different areas in Zamboanga del  Sur and Zamboanga  Sibugay to check the implementation of the Philippine National Police “ Oplan Kaluluwa” in the different cemeteries in the region in connection with the celebration of All Saints Day and All Souls Day.

Pagaduan directed all commanders of HPG provincial teams to assist in traffic in all highways in the region where there are cemeteries to avoid decongestion.

HGP-9 also conducts random checkpoints and passengers assistance in all terminals, ports and airports in the region.

“ So far I observed most cemeteries along national highways are not so busy. Likewise with terminals. Although the situation is manageable, we are still on red alert,” Pagaduan said.

Pagaduan also pays courtesy call on Zamboanga del  Sur  Gov. Antonio Cerilles and Congresswoman Aurora Cerilles, Congressman Victor Yu and Dumalinao Mayor Ace Cerilles last Saturday. —  Allen Abastillas
