A man was killed after his motorcycle was rammed and dragged several meters by a speeding passenger van along Lobregat Highway in Boalan yesterday morning.
The fatality was identified as Ian Sanson. One of his legs was cut off in the accident and he declared dead on arrival in the hospital.

A sketchy report disclosed that Sanson was on his way to the city proper aboard a motorcycle when a passenger van driven by Bong Abrera bumped him from behind near a memorial park in Boalan. Because of the van’s very high speed, Sanson and his motorcycle was dragged several meters away. He sustained multiple bone fractures and his leg was cut off.

Sanson was rushed by paramedics to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Abrera was held by the police and was placed under investigation.

Both vehicles were impounded at the Divisoria Police Station.

Sanson’s was brought to a funeral parlor for post mortem examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
