A 50-year-old man was shot and seriously wounded by one of two men riding tandem on a motorcycle at Sitio Tarlago, Tictapul last Sunday morning.

Wounded was Mukim Diman y Sariul, married. He sustained multiple bullet wounds in the body and was rushed to the Zamboanga City Medical Center.

A police report disclosed that Diman was driving a motorcycle on the way to Vitali around 9:30 a.m., when two men aboard another motorcycle chased him and the backrider shot him several times at Sitio Tarlago,

The gunmen sped after the incident while the victim was taken to the hospital by helpful residents.

Meanwhile, Kasim Tarawi, 42, of Arena Blanco was stabbed to death by an unidentified man in San Roque last Sunday afternoon.

Tarawi’s body was discovered at a grassy area around 2:20 p.m. by some residents.
