Pusher, 2 girls held in drug buy-bust PDF Print E-mail

A suspected big-time pusher was arrested and two female teenagers were held for questioning during a buy-bust operation in Guiwan last Monday night.

The suspect was identified as Riyadh Lizada y Usig, 32, married of Vanex, Recodo. Two young girls ages 17 and 16, residents of Sinunuc and Upper Calarian respectively were also held and later turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon, chief of the Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force, disclosed that the buy-bust operation was carried out around 7:30 p.m.

Solon said that he and his men collared Lizada after he sold a sachet of shabu worth P300 to a poseur buyer.

When they went to Lizada’s house where the drug transaction was made, they spotted the two young women inside.

Aside from the sachet of shabu and the P300 marked, policemen also recovered from Lizada’s possession three more packs of shabu a pair of scissors, a disposable lighter, three rolled tissue paper, rolled strips of aluminum foil and Tupperware container.

Lizada was detained at the central police station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
