An 18-year-old man was accidentally shot and wounded by a security guard at the Forest Lake memorial park in Tumaga at dawn yesterday.

Wilberto Solis y Santos of Putik sustained a bullet wound in the left foot and was taken to the hospital.

Police identified the security guard as Romel Bigara y Segovia, 32, single, of the Golden Sun Security Agency.

Initial investigation disclosed that Solis and a certain Bing Bang Rivera were on their way home from Forest Lake around 4:20 a.m.when three men appeared and mauled him. at the main entrance of the memorial park.

Bigara told the police that when he saw the commotion, he pulled out his .38 caliber revolver, to pacify, but it accidentally went off hitting Solis in the left foot.

Bigara was placed under investigation and the gun was confiscated by the police for ballistic test at the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory.
