A man who was tagged as the one supplying shabu to some bus drivers at the Guiwan Bus Terminal was arrested before noon yesterday..

The suspect was identified as Muktar Mahammud Sarabi, 32, single, of Sta. Barbara.

Sarabi was nabbed by men of the Zamboanga City Public Safety Company under the supervision of Supt. William Gadayan.

Policemen confiscated from Sarabi’s possession a medium pack of suspected shabu and P500 marked money.

Sarabi in an interview said he is supplying shabu to some bus drivers before they drive their bus.

He added that yesterday a bus driver and a conductor gave him P1,000 and told him to buy shabu for their use.

Sarabi said he went to Recodo and bought shabu from one Eddie, a known drug pusher in the area.

When he arrived at the Guiwan Bus Terminal, he had a drug deal with a police poseur buyer who also bought him shabu worth P500.

Right after Sarabi handed over the shabu to the poseur buyer, a police back-up team pounced on and handcuffed him.

Sarabi was brought to the ZCPSC office for further investigation while the shabu was forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examinations. – Dan Toribio Jr.
