Police arrested three men wanted by law in separate operations last Monday and Tuesday.

Arrested were Benson Apostol of Triplitt, Sto. Niño, Danilo Duarte y Mendoza, 43, married, of Barangay Cacao and Wilfredo Perez Napalcruz of Tumaga Porcentro.

Apostol was nabbed by operatives of the City Police Office’s Detective Management Unit last Tuesday on the strength of a warrant for violation of Section 261 (q) in relation to Section 254 of Batas Pambansa-881 as implemented by Comelec resolution No. 8 with case No. 25319 issued by Judge Tibing Asaali of the Regional Trial Court Branch 17 on December 23, 2010.

The court recommended P12,000 bond for his temporary liberty.

Duarte was arrested by men of the Sangali Police Station last Monday night. He was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for frustrated homicide with case No. 25086 issued by Judge Reynerio Estacio of the RTC Branch 14 with P24,000 recommended bail bond.

Napalcruz was nabbed by men of the DMU in Tumaga Porcentro last Tuesday morning. He has been wanted for violation of Republic Act 9262.

Napalcruz was nabbed on the strength of a warrant with case No. FC 1594.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Hilarion Clapis Jr. of the RTC Branch 3 in Nabunturan, Compostela Valley on October 6, 2010 with recommended bail bond of P24,000.

Police said that Napalcruz was temporarily released after he posted the bail bond while the two others were detained. -- Dan Toribio Jr.
