A 32-year-old man was discovered dead with bullet wounds in the body inside an Innova car in Tetuan yesterday morning while a vegetable trader was shot and wounded along Lobregat highway in Guiwan yesterday afternoon.

The fatality was identified as Albazier Taradji of Talon-Talon. He sustained two bullet wounds in the body.

A police report disclosed that residents of Balvino Saavedra Drive discovered the incident around 7 a.m. after they saw Taradji inside the Innova car and apparently dead.
Policemen suspected that Taradji could have been killed around 3 a.m. and the incident was not noticed until yesterday afternoon.

Investigators were still clueless on the motive of the killing.

Meanwhile, Elmer Mendoza, 37, married, of Tolosa was shot and wounded by one of two gunmen aboard a motorcycle in Guiwan yesterday afternoon.

A police report disclosed that Mendoza and some companions aboard a truck driven by a certain Rodelin came from Bagsakan Center in Sta. Cruz to deliver vegetables. While they were going back to Tolosa and upon reaching the intersection of old and new Guiwan highway, the backrider of a motorcycle the truck was trying to overtake opened fire, hitting Mendoza

The motorcycle sped away after the incident while Mendoza was rushed to the Western Mindanao Medical Center with a slight bullet wound in the nape.
