Man in fatal stabbing case jailed PDF Print E-mail

A 48-year-old man, who stabbed and killed another man in Sinunuc, was committed to the Zamboanga City Reformatory Center following a court order.

Police said that Roberto Canamon y Albaracin of Sinunuc was brought to the city jail after the 15-day waiver lapsed.

Canamon was arrested after he stabbed and killed Haber Araji y Buyuni, 40, of the same place around 11:30 p.m.last October 26.

Canamon was brought to the City Prosecutor Office for inquest on murder case and he availed of the 15-day waiver which put him back in detention at the Sinunuc Police Station for preliminary investigation.

After the prescribed period of the waiver, Canamon was brought again to court and a commitment order was issued for his detention at the city jail. — Dan Toribio Jr.
