Man hacked, hurt in Cawit PDF Print E-mail

A native of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay was hacked and wounded at Zone 3, Cawit last Sunday afternoon.

Jalal Sala y Gumapi, 32, married, sustained a hack wound in the left arm and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Sala was hacked by Mukim Jama, 24, married, of Cawit.

A police report disclosed that Sala engaged in a heated argument with some bystanders around 2:30 p.m. during which Jama appeared and hacked Sala in the left arm.
Jama was pacified by his relatives and was arrested and brought to the Ayala Police Station for investigation.

Meanwhile, men of the Sta. Maria Police Station led by Insp. Mohamar Mariwa arrested Omar Sahiron, 23, married, of San Jose during a buy-bust operation last Monday afternoon.

The team confiscated from his possession a sachet of shabu, drug paraphernalia and P500 marked money.

The suspect was detained at the Sta. Maria Police Station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
