In line with the 23rd anniversary celebration of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, the Office of the Attorney General sponsors a three- day free legal counseling at the Office of the Regional Governor starting today, November 21.

The services during the said program include free legal counseling on civil, criminal and administrative cases.

“The free legal Counseling Program is consistent with the spirit of public service and reform in the ARMM,” said Atty. Sahara Alia Silongan, officer-in-charge of OAG.

According to Atty. Honey Mae G. Mori, administrative officer of the OAG, the free legal assistance program is open to all ARMM constituents and residents of this city but with priority to those who cannot afford to have legal counsel.

“The giving of free legal services will only be limited to the duration of the program and will not extend beyond it,” she added.

The free legal counseling is in partnership with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines- Cotabato Chapter, Public Attorney’s Office- Maguindanao, Rotary Club of Cotabato City- South, Sharia’h District Court- Cotabato City and the Notre Dame University- College of Law. — ARMMcommgroup
