Three days after a gun attack that wounded a 14-year-old girl at Sitio Cansilayan, Lubigan another similar incident took place in the same place last Wednesday night.
The latest attack took place at the house of Jovani Evangelista, 27, married. No one was hurt.

Initial investigation disclosed that gunmen positioned on a dimly lit spot opened fire on the Evangelista house around 7 p.m.

Luckily, occupants of the house managed to drop to the floor and evaded the bullets.

The gunmen disappeared before the police arrived at the scene.

Last Sunday night, Marry Ann Delos Santos, 14, a high school student was wounded in the arm after gunmen rained with bullets her relatives’  house where she was visiting at Sitio Kansilayan.

They were about to take their dinner when the incident happened.

Delos Santos was hit in the arm while other occupants of the house escaped unhurt.

Last July 8, similar incident took place at the house where Delos Santos was hit by a bullet.

But during that first attack, no one was injured, police said.

Policemen were still working on the case and trying to determine if all three attacks were staged by the same gunmen. —  Dan Toribio Jr.
