Zamboanga City is experiencing an economic boom with many new businesses opening lately.

The latest business to open is a motor parts store in Canelar.

Formally inaugurated and blessed last Saturday,November 24, was Riders Motor Parts Center along Mayor Jaldon St., Canelar.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was done by the building owner Mr. Ramon Guatlo and newspaper columnist Mila Arieta while the blessing rites was officiated by Pastror Jose “Joe” Noman Jr.

Riders Motor Parts Center deals with all kinds of motor parts in very affordable prices,. Their main product lines are genuine and Class-A replacement parts of Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki and complete line of accessories. Riders expert services include general overhauling, modification jobs, racing set up (XRM, Wave, Alpha etc) conversion and upgrading, carburator cleaning, battery charging, rewiring, change oil, tune up, accessories and seat cover installations. Discounts are now given to customers as opening promo.

It is owned by enterprising couple Engr. Richard Lizardo and Dr. Elinor Lizardo (a Pediatrician). Richard is the Regional Governor of the Institute Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines Western Mindanao Region.

The blessings rites was followed with breakfast and lunch and was attended by Union Bank Executive Jung Jung Santos, Ramon Guatlo, RCBC Manager Jonathan Lim, Ticket 1 owner Jonathan Liao Wee, Don Don Rivera, Liza Dumagti, Mega Petron Station Manager Romil Ramond Arieta, Zamboanga Today columnist Boy Nap Directo and officers and members of the Riders Club of Zamboanga who spearheaded the early morning motorcade around the city proper.
