2 men with .45 cal. pistol, shabu nabbed PDF Print E-mail

Operatives of the Tetuan Police Station under Chief Insp. Elmer Acuña arrested two men for possession of a questionable gun and shabu along Alfaro St., Tetuan last Friday afternoon.

Arrested were Earl Bayabos y Tiamwat, single, and Ronald Sala y Villanueva, single, both residents of Ortega Drive, Tetuan.

Confiscated from their possession was a .45 caliber pistol, with seven rounds of ammunition and two sachets of shabu.

The duo were arrested around 3:10 p.m. and were taken to the Tetuan Police station for interrogation.

The seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Police said a case for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition against Bayabos and a case for violation of Section 11 and 12 of Article II of Republic Act 9165 against Sala were forwarded to the city prosecutor office. — Dan Toribio Jr.
