The City Police Office’s Investigation Section led by Sr. Insp. Arlan Delumpines has forwarded a case of robbery with homicide against a former marine soldier and two cohorts tagged as behind the holdup and gunslaying of a biscuit company employee the other week.

Delumpines identified the suspects as Mikhaelle Donald Halirin, 32, a former marine soldier, Ronald Roncal of Upper Calarian and Abdurasa Alig of Lower Calarian.

Halirin was arrested in a follow-up operation at his residence where the police recovered the bag of Burlyn Justiniani of Rebisco firm who was shot dead along Nuñez Extension two weeks ago.

Roncal and Alig remain at large.

Halirin was positively identified by witnesses as the driver of the motorcycle that Roncal rode when they shot and robbed Justiniani.

The suspects’ motorcycle was recovered in Upper Calarian few minutes after the incident.

Police said that robbery was motive of the killing as the suspects took the victim’s bag containing undetermined amount of money. – Dan Toribio Jr.
