Man arrested on maltreatment rap PDF Print E-mail

A 47-year-old man was arrested after he maltreated his wife and two children at Zone 1, Maasin last Sunday afternoon.

Anthony Forinas y Jimenez was arrested during a follow-up operation.

A police report disclosed that Forinas’ wife had sought for police assistance because her husband was maltreating them at home.

The complainant told the police that Forinas burned their sofa bed and abused her and their children ages 15 (female) and 10 (male) verbally and physically.
Policemen conducted a follow-up operation resulting in the arrest of Forinas.

Meanwhile, men of the Detective Management Unit arrested Nestor Ahalul of Sta. Barbara last Monday morning.

Ahalul was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for murder with case number 11744 issued on May 18, 1993 by Judge Carlito Eisma of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13.

The accused was placed under police custody and was later turned over to the court. – Dan Toribio Jr.
