PRO-9 gets 16 motorcycles for police mobility PDF Print E-mail

Police Regional Office 9 is now enhancing its mobility and equipment operability by purchasing new motorcycles and other operational requirements in addition to the preparation for the forthcoming 2013 elections.

PRO-9 recently launched “Secure and Fair Elections or (SAFE 2013)”, which is the prime security plan of the PNP in for next year’s elections.

Yesterday, PRO-9 Director Chief Supt.  Napoleon Estilles turned over to the several police provincial and city commands 10 Honda XRM motorcycles intended to increase the mobility of each police unit in especially in intelligence gathering and patrols, four units of bullet reloading machine with complete accessories and volume of ammunition.

The recipients arre Zamboanga City Police Office, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay and Isabela City  Police Stations.

“I recommended the purchase of these equipment and vehicles for the different police commands in order to meet the necessary mobility and operability requirements,” Estilles said.

He added that aside from the said equipment, there are six 200cc motorcycles from Camp Crame which will be distributed to the police stations which are primarily located in vital mobility and response areas of the region.
