3 nabbed in shabu buy-bust PDF Print E-mail

Three men were arrested in two separate buy-bust operations in Tugbungan and Vitali last Thursday and Wednesday.

William Dingcong y Bargamento alias Watari, 30, single, and Raymond Galvez y Sisi alias Pie, 47, both of Tugbungan, were nabbed by men of the Tetuan Police Station under the supervision of Chief Insp. Elmer Acuña around 6:30, Thursday.

Acuña disclosed that the buy-bust operation was carried out near Manhatan Drive in Tugbungan where the suspects met with a police poseur buyer.

Acuña said a police back-up team collared the suspects after they sold a sachet of shabu to the poseur buyer in exchange of P200 marked money.

After the arrest, policemen recovered from the suspects’  possession three sachets of shabu, P200 marked money, six rolled tissue paper, two tooters, a disposable lighter, a pair of scissors, three cut straw scoopers, two aluminum foil strips, one empty sachet and one improvised bamboo clipper.

Muksin Hapil y Tili, of Muti was nabbed by men of the Vitali Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Joel Tuttuh during a buy-bust operation in Vitali proper Wednesday morning.

Police recovered from Hapil’s possession three heat sealed straws containing shabu, three folded aluminum foil strips, another sachet of shabu and P600 marked money.

The three suspects were detained at the Tetuan Police station and Vitali Police Station respectively while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
