Mayor Celso Lobregat the other day applauded two of the country’s leading leisure developers for jointly undertaking the Woodridge Garden Village, a high-end subdivision project in Lunzuran that serves as a testimony of the city’s growth and development.

Lobregat graced the inauguration of the Woodridge Garden Village clubhouse and swimming pool, November 30, along with Landco Pacific Corporation President and CEO Alfred Xerez-Burgos III and Carlos Delfin Wenceslao of the DM Wenceslao Associates and other corporate executives and some city officials.

The mayor, who saw how the Woodridge Garden Village evolved into a premiere luxury home community from a barren land 5 years ago, said the subdivision is another proof that Zamboanga is indeed moving forward in all aspects.

Burgos, in his message during a brief program said the Woodridge Garden Village is just a sample of the quality that Landco puts when it comes to amenities.
“We hope that when this is completed, it is something that not only we can be proud of but Zamboanga will be proud of”, Burgos, a high school classmate of Mayor Lobregat  in La Salle, said.

He added: “Our mayor has done a wonderful job in this city and we hope to reciprocate it with a quality development”.

For his part, Wenceslao recalled that 5 years ago, the family dreamed to build a subdivision in the area by partnering with Landco Pacific Corporation.
He thanked all partners, the lot owners and all stakeholders for helping make the family dream a reality.

The opening of the clubhouse and swimming pool was uniquely done through a luau pool party as guests and lot owners were dressed in white ensembles with colorful Hawaiian leis.

The impressive clubhouse is characterized by mission-inspired architecture and Southern California theme, featuring an amenity block with an open basketball court, great lawn and a free-form swimming pool with an adult lap pool and kiddie pool divided by fun and playful fountain-like spouts.

The facilities can be rented either by lot owners or endorsed guests at affordable rates.

Aside from Lobregat, Burgos and Wenceslao other executives and officials present were
