District 2 Rep. Erbie A. Fabian has reiterated his full support for the education sector even as he prepares to continue financial support to financially-challenged but deserving students in acquiring a degree in college.

Cong. Fabian made the announcement as he prepares to release the next tranche of financial support for students who are on scholarships in various schools here in the city.

‘I have made it a priority of mine since I started in government service to allot funds from my congressional initiatives to finance the higher education of young and promising students who cannot afford a decent education because of financial constraints’, Cong Fabian declared.

Hundreds of students have benefitted from the scholarship program of the 2nd district solon in both CHED and TESDA accredited schools in the city for those taking up regular college courses and vocational trainings to help improve their chances of gainful employment in the future.

Education has been a cornerstone of my priorities in congress and I have seen to it that our underprivileged youth will get an equal chance of attaining their dreams of finishing their studies no matter what their status in life are.

Cong. Fabian has embarked on various training programs under project ERBIE or Entrepreneurship in Rural Barangays through Integrated Education to complement his scholarship program as he stressed the importance of education in advancing one’s lot in life to earn a livelihood.

Several of Fabian’s beneficiaries are now teachers, social workers, hotel and restaurant employees, policemen, nurses, engineers, marine engineers, and security officers among others.

The solon said the scholars currently in school will get their checks from the agencies concerned anytime soon.
