5 hurt in Boalan highway mishap PDF Print E-mail

Five people were injured when the tricycle they were riding collided with a Mitsubishi Pajero in Boalan last Wednesday night.

Injured were Pepito Subrado, tricycle driver and passengers Jomar Subrado, Jaypee Delos Santos, Joselito Magbanua and Roger Magbanua, all residents of Vitali.

A police report disclosed that the five victims were riding on a tricycle driven by Pepito heading east around 11:40 p.m., when a Mitsubishi Pajero driven by Rolando Pantaleon, 68, married, of San Isidro Drive, Boalan,  who was ahead of them suddenly made a left turn resulting in the accident near the entrance of San Isidro Drive,

The victims were rushed to the Zamboanga City Medical Hospital with injuries in their body.

Divisoria policemen were still investigating the case.

Meanwhile, PO3 Kemhar Juhassan Jadjulie of the City Police Office was injured after he figured in a road mishap in San Jose Gusu last Wednesday morning.

Jadjulie was driving a motorcycle heading west when a Nissan van driven by Eduardo Torralba who was running on the same direction suddenly swerved to the right towards the roadside to load a passenger causing it to sideswipe the policeman’s motorcycle near a church in San Jose Gusu.

Jadjulie was taken to the hospital for treatment. – Dan Toribio Jr.
