PNP orders all units to cancel Xmas party in sympathy to typhoon victims PDF Print E-mail

The Philippine National Police in Camp Crame has issued a memorandum dated  December 11,2012 directing  its Staff, Regional Commands, National Support Units down to the municipal level not to  conduct a  yearly Christmas Party with their respective personnel and dependents.

The memorandum said that all PNP commands must cancel their Christmas party in sympathy to the victims of Typhoon Pablo that killed more than 900 people and has destroyed properties worth billions of pesos in Compostela Valley and other parts of the country.

The memorandum also directed all PNP commands to offer mass and prayers for the Typhoon Pablo victims and raise funds to be donated to the typhoon survivors.

The memorandum was addressed to all PNP commands coming from the office of Director Elpidio Z. De Asis Jr.,  National Director of the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management. — Allen Abastillas
