An eight-year-old boy whose ambition is to become a policeman wore the PNP type-A uniform and paid a courtesy call on OIC City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo last Wednesday.

The boy, Jonathan Cole Wee, son of Jonathan Wee, a businessman, surprised De Ocampo and other organic members of the City Police Office after he visited the headquarters.

At his very young age, the boy who was named “kiddy cop” revealed his ambition to become a police officer in the future as he idolizes a lawman.

The boy appeared at the office of De Ocampo wearing the complete type-A uniform with accessories carrying the rank of Superintendent, chatted with the police personnel and was introduced with the organic members.

The boy was welcomed by the policemen led by De Ocampo.

De Ocampo said the boy is very serious with his ambition as the latter idolizes the policemen in the country.

De Ocampo added that it was his first time to see a young boy wanting to become a policeman.

He further said the boy would become a good policeman and peace officer as he is very serious with his ambition. – Dan Toribio Jr.
