Policemen of Task Force Limpiesa confiscated another big volume of firecrackers being sold illegally at the public market the other day.

The task force led by Sr. Insp. Ramon Bautista proceeded to the Ukay-Ukay section around 5:30 p.m. after receiving a report that there were traders illegally selling firecrackers..

Upon their arrival, policemen confiscated seven reams of piccolo, seven dozens of sparklers, 56 small boxes of pop-pop, 5 small bundles of seven-color and 40 pieces of baby kwitis.

Police said that vendors scampered in different directions after sensing the presence of the lawmen.

The vendors and traders have violated Executive Order No. CL-481-2012 that regulates, controls and limits the sale of pyrotechnics  —Dan Toribio Jr.
