Barangay Lamisahan, a far-flung barangay in the city’s east coast, will finally get its dream next week, a multi-purpose covered court as District 2 Rep. Erbie A Fabian is set to inaugurate and turn over the multi-million edifice to barangay officials headed by Barangay Chairman Eddie Ramillano.

The project was undertaken late last year, completed recently and was funded under the solon’s Priority Development Fund.

This follows a series of similar projects which saw Barangays Guiwan and Zambowood getting their own multi-purpose covered courts courtesy of Rep. Fabian’s barangay development program.

Rep. Fabian also announced that next week he will complete the distribution of the last three combined rice and corn threshers to recipient barangay farmers’ cooperatives.

he threshers are in line with the congressman’s food production enhancement program which seeks to improve grains production in the east coast, where most of the city’s rice and corn granaries are located.

These form part of our commitment to the east coast barangays of delivering projects and programs to help our townsfolk to improve their lives by way of providing the necessary tools which is vital to their day to day lives, the solon from Mercedes disclosed.

In the course of his three terms in congress, Rep. Fabian has delivered millions of pesos worth of valuable infrastructure, agricultural implements, medical supplies and equipment, provided trainings for livelihood and more all in the interest of bringing development to the vast east coast expanse of the city.

“I have said it before, I will do my utmost best to procure funds so that we can fund our projects for the people who have entrusted us to lead and guide them in becoming more productive in the communities they live in,” Fabian added.

The senior member of the House of Representatives, only the 2nd solon of the city to serve three consecutive terms is winding up his affairs as he prepares to step down from the house this year.

Rep. Fabian, in his keen desire to continue serving the city has announced his plans of running for mayor as soon as his term ends on June.
