Burglars broke into a policeman’s house and ransacked firearms and valuables at Orchid Drive, Daisy Road, Guiwan the other night.

A police report disclosed that the robbery took place at the house of PO3 Reneboy Oquias y Cataytay around 3 a.m. last Tuesday.

Initial investigation disclosed that the robbers got away with Oquias’ .45 caliber pistol with one extra magazine loaded with bullets worth P25,000, a baby M16 rifle worth P70,000, three Samsung cell phones worth P6,000 each, wrist watch worth P8,000, P10,000 in cash, i-phone worth P35,000 and two laptops worth P14,000 each.

Ocular investigation showed the robbers broke into the house amid heavy downpour.

Police investigators and men the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) lifted some fingerprints inside the house that may lead to the identities of the robbers.
