The City Police Office under Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo yesterday received 16 Honda XRM motorcycles all colored blue from the Police Regional Office.

De Ocampo said the motorcycles will be issued to members of the City Police Office’s VIPER assigned on the different streets riding on motorcycles.

The motorcycles were given as one way of support from  the Police Regional Office to help combat criminalities and maintain peace and order in the city.

De Ocampo said that members of the VIPER team  play an important role in the city as they can be seen in the streets and can respond immediately to any eventualities.

The presence of the VIPER members also prevent criminalities as lawless individuals would  think twice before committing crimes.

VIPER members help other lawmen from other units in responding to crimes as they are already on the streets.

De Ocampo thanked the Police Regional Office for supporting them in the fight against lawless elements. — Dan Toribio Jr.
