Two alleged notorious shabu pushers were arrested in two separate operations last Thursday and Friday.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo identified those arrested as Jalah Hadjirul, 35, married, of Lustre, Sta. Catalina and Roger Mark Calog y Saavedra, 27, of
Balinsungay, Mercedes.

De Ocampo disclosed that the suspects were arrested by operatives of the City Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force led by Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon.
Hadjirul was nabbed in Candido St., Tetuan around 11 p.m. Thursday during a buy-bust operation.

Police said that Hadjirul’s cohort identified as Jimboy Jimbrani escaped aboard a motorcycle during the buy-bust operation.

Confiscated from Hadjirul’s possession was a sachet of shabu and a cell phone.

Calog was nabbed during an entrapment operation in Maasin around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

A police report disclosed that Calog was contacted by a police poseur buyer who ordered him shabu worth P5,000.

Calog agreed to deliver the stuff Friday night.

Police said that Calog boarded a CRM motorcycle and went to Recodo to get the shabu, then contacted the police poseur buyer to meet him in Maasin particulrly near the elementary school to deliver the drugs.

Around 11:30 p.m. Calog met with the poseur buyer and handed him over a medium size sachet of shabu that prompted the police back-up team to collar him.

Recovered from Calog’s possession was a medium pack of shabu, a cell phone and his CRM motorcycle. — Dan Toribio Jr.
