In the spirit of Christmas and solidarity with the sick and the poor, the Knights of Columbus of St. Joseph Council headed by the Grand Knight Roseller Arancon and accompanied by some of its officers, visited the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) to give cheers to the sick through their gift-giving that coincided with the solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord or commonly known as the Feast of the Three Kings.

The solemnity reminds us of the importance of giving gifts. The gift packs prepared by the KC consisted of rice, noodles, milk and sardines. The beneficiaries of the outreach were 320 indigent patients of the mentioned hospital.

A week earlier they also visited the community gathered by Rev. Fr. Sebastiano D’Ambra, PIME at the

Harmony Village, Pitogo, Sinunuc to distribute goodies and foods to some 800 children and mothers. This love drive and community service was conducted on December 29, 2012.

Foods and goodies were shared and donated by District Deputy Charlie Sebastian, Grand Knight Reseller Arancon, SK Vic Tang and Bro. Rey Tan.
