The city police office’s Investigation Section has identified the two men who killed a security guard whose motorcycle was taken away along JS Alano Street last week.

In his report to City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo, Sr. Insp. Arlan Delumpines, chief of the Investigation Section, identified the suspects as Malali Dimarunsing of Guiwan and Muktadir Indaasan of San Roque.

Delumpines disclosed that the two suspects were positively identified by witnesses as responsible for the killing of Danilo Lactuan, 59, a security guard around 4:50 a.m.last January 5.

Lactuan was waiting for his wife who was buying some items at the old public market when two men appeared and one of them shot him at close range.

The two men took Lactuian’s motorcycle then sped away.

Delumpines said that a case of robbery with homicide has been forwarded to the City Prosecutor Office against Dimarunsing and Indasan who are both still at large. — Dan Toribio Jr.
