A man was arrested after he pretended to be a policeman and insulted a real policeman in a cockpit in Tumaga last Sunday afternoon.

Arrested was Lizandro Zamora y Evangelista, a native of Parañaque City and presently residing at  Sitio Luyahan, Pasonanca.
Initial investigation disclosed that Zamora was under the influence of liquor when he figured in a heated argument with a policeman with the rank of Police Officer 2 inside a cockpit in Tumaga.

Zamora reportedly insulted the policeman by belittling his PO2 rank as he introduced himself as a policeman with the rank of Senior Police Officer 4.

Zamora showed a PNP identification card indicating his SPO4 rank.

However, the real policeman noticed that in Zamora’s identification card, the rank is SPO4, but in the photo of attached to his I.D.,  he is wearing a police uniform with the rank of Senior Inspector.

Zamora was held by the policeman and was taken to the Sta. Maria Police Station.

At the Sta.Maria Police Station, Zamora claimed that it was his previous employer in Manila who falsified his PNP identification card.
