Police have launched a manhunt operation against a female thief who uses grade school pupils in stealing valuables from school teachers.

The incident happened at the San Roque Elementary School last Friday where an unidentified woman befriended four grade school pupils and convinced them to rob the bag of their class adviser.

A police report disclosed that the woman arrived at the school around 12 noon and befriended the four girls ages 9 and 8. The woman instructed them to get the bag of their class adviser. The young girls obeyed and handed her the bag, containing wallet, cellular phone and other personal belongings.

Police said the woman invited the four girls to eat at Jollibee at Mindpro Citimall. However, when they were at the fast food restaurant, the woman took the jewelry of the girls then left with the loot.

A police report said that operatives of the Sta. Maria and Military Intelligence Group conducted follow-up operations after the incident was reported as abduction.

Authorities recovered the four girls at the mall around 4:30 p.m.

The girls were fetched by their respective parents. -- Dan Toribio Jr.
