An alleged drug pusher was shot dead by a gunman at the Sta. Catalia flea market last Wednesday night.

Killed was Melvin Dellagas y Espina alias Tocs, 41, married. He was rushed to the Zamboanga City Medical Center where he expired while undergoing treatment.

Police failed to get information from people at the crime scene as no one cooperated with them.

Police said that Dellagas was at the flea market around 8 p.m. when a gunman appeared and shot him at close range.

Investigators gathered that Dellagas had been engaging in the selling of shabu in the area.

Recovered at the crime scene were three spent shells of .45 caliber pistol.

Investigators were still digging deeper into the case. — Dan Toribio Jr.
