Men of the Highway Patrol Group-9  recovered two motorcycles with spurious documents during a weekend operation at the local wharf.

The two motorcycles  — red Suzuki with plate number 9053 WQ, chassis number BG41D210861 and engine numbers G4201D947439 and  red Honda bearing  plate number 2629YK, chassis number KCN06002903 and KCN06E002903, were bound for Jolo.

The operation was lead by Insp.  Mervin S. Claret and Insp.  Inocensio Jamolod with SPOI Joel Claret, PO3 John Lester C. Llevado,  PO3 Bobby Solis, PO2 Janryl Niño Limocon and PO1 Abdulpati Yusup.

HPG-9 Chief Supt. Severino  B. Agustin directed his men to seize the two motorcycles, impound them at Camp Batalla and conduct further investigation to know who the real owners are.

Case investigator SPO1 Wilfredo P. Ator disclosed that the two motorcycles have spurious document registration.

The agent of the shipper who applied for a motorcycle clearance at HPG-9 in Camp Batalla did not know the owner of the Suzuki. Another person identified as Amil Hamid,  a resident  of Tibongco Davao City, presented spurious documents for the Honda motorcycle that was registered in Davao City. The motorcycle also has no ignition key.—  Allen Abastillas
