A woman was arrested after she was caught selling illegally reloaded bullets during a police operation in Estrada St., Tetuan last Friday afternoon.

Marissa Lacia y Amante, 23, single, was nabbed after she sold reloaded bullets to a policeman who pretended as a customer during an operation.

Initial investigation disclosed that men of the Firearms, Explosives, Security Agencies Section (FESAGS) led by Chief Insp. Mark Azur and policemen of the Investigation
Section swooped down on Estrada St., Tetuan to conduct an entrapment operation after they received report that Lacia was selling reloaded bullets.

PO1 Joey Gumera pretended as a customer and ordered 98 reloaded bullets for 9mm pistol and 123 for .45 caliber pistol.

After the ammunition and marked money changed hands,  policemen collared Lacia.

Recovered from Lacia’s possession  was the P2,600 used in the buying of the reloaded ammunition. — Dan Toribio Jr.
