FMOM holds summits in key Mindanao cities PDF Print E-mail

The Federation of Moslems Organization in Mindanao (FMOM) is holding summits and consultations in connection with the forthcoming election in May, this year.

FMOM led by its overall chief Ibrahim Isahac Sahibul has already visited two cities and two provinces where the summits were held successfully.

Sahibul said that cities and provinces covered by FMOM are Zamboanga City, Isabela City, Marawi City and Cotabato City, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Zamboanga Sibugay, Maguindanao, Lanao and Basilan.

Sahibul said the purpose of the summits and consultations is to consolidate barangay heads and leaders and to get their opinion as to who among the national candidates are to be supported in the May election.

Sahibul said during their visits in the four places, residents and leaders expressed their support to their programs and some of them have contributed their opinions as to who are their candidates.

After the four places the FMOM has visited, Sahibul said they will continue the summits and consultations in the other cities and provinces. – Dan Toribio Jr.
