Shabu pusher nabbed in Putik PDF Print E-mail

Men of the Divisoria Police Station under Supt. Haywien Salvado arrested a suspected drug pusher in Barangay Putik last Thursday.

Salvado identified the suspect as Mario Drocelo Mariano y Bazan, alias Linggoy, 46, married, of Lorenzo Heights, Putik.

Salvado said Mariano was nabbed by intelligence operatives led by SPO4 Gerardo Burlasa around 11 a.m.

Confiscated from his possession was a sachet of shabu, aluminum foil, scissors, lighter and P300 marked money.

Investigation disclosed that the police carried out a buy-bust operation after receiving information on the drug activities of Mariano.

Salvado formed a team and executed the buy-bust operation Thursday.

Mariano was collared after he sold  a sachet of shabu to an undercover policeman who acted as poseur buyer.

The seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. — Dan Toribio Jr.
